Attention K-8 Parents: Breakfast Survey Available Now!
Dear Parent/Guardian:
In 1993 the State Legislature approved legislation that mandates a breakfast program effective September 1996 for all elementary schools that participate in the National School Lunch Program. The district need not initiate a breakfast program, however, if only a small number of parents request such a program.
A breakfast program includes fruit or fruit juice, cold cereal, muffins or bagels, a protein such as eggs, cheese or peanut butter and milk. Breakfast, if offered, must be served before the first academic period
or class activity begins each morning.
The price of a breakfast is estimated to be between $2.55 and $2.80. Students who are eligible for free
or reduced lunch would receive free or reduced breakfast as well.
Please note, this survey does not apply to Commack High School students. Breakfast options for Commack High School students are in their a la cart menu. If your child attends Commack High School, please do not complete this survey.
Please click the link below to complete the survey by Monday, April 28, 2025.
Your response to the survey, positive or negative, is critical.
Thank you for your cooperation.
