Wood Park's Lee Dallaglio Selected Commack Star
Lee Dallaglio has been at principal Michelle Collison’s side for years, navigating the Wood Park main office’s responsibilities with ease and patience, while ensuring everyone receives her full attention.
And at a staff holiday breakfast on Monday morning, Dallaglio was recognized for her service to the district with a Commack Star Award.
Joined by fellow administrators as well as Collison, superintendent Dr. Jordan Cox surprised Dallaglio in front of her colleagues.
The Commack Star award is awarded to employees who demonstrates exemplary achievement, contribution and performance in their roles.
Dallaglio is the second recipient district-wide this school year, joining Burr physical education teacher and high school coach Tracie Morenberg.
“Your colleagues have expressed their admiration for your kindness, generosity and steadfast support,” Cox told Dallaglio during the presentation. “You are a true inspiration to all who have the pleasure of working with you.”
