Wood Park Kindergarteners Experience 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar'
Art teacher Nicole Kaiser and librarian Krista Meyers collaborated at Wood Park on Thursday to provide an amazing experience for the primary school's kindergarteners.
In the library, the young students read, "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle. And in the art room, the kindergarteners painted in the style of the illustrations in Carle's popular children's book.
The book follows a caterpillar as he eats his way through a variety of foods as he prepares to grow into a beautiful butterfly.
