CHS' Grandfriends, Jazz Messengers Make for Special Prom at Gurwin's Adult Day Health Program
The CHS Jazz Messengers and Grandfriends club ensured it was a special day at the Gurwin Jewish Nursing & Rehabilitation Center on Thursday.
The students visited Gurwin’s Adult Day Health Program to perform throwback tunes and dance with the program’s participants in what the center billed its inaugural adult prom.
Corsages were donated by a Northport florist and prom dress attire was provided by the Gurwin staff as well as local residents.
Band director Dr. Frank Hansen served as emcee.
