CHS American Sign Language students are visiting the district's primary and intermediary schools on Tuesday to share their knowledge of ASL in conjunction with Disability Awareness Month.

During an early stop at Sawmill (pictured), the ASL students read aloud and signed the book, "Sophie's Tales, Learning to Listen," about a dog who has a hearing device implanted.

The Sawmill students then asked questions and learned how to sign, "thank you.”
