Commack Council of PTA Hosts 2025 Founder’s Day Event
Over 50 honorees were recognized at Commack Council of PTA hosted it’s 2025 Founder’s Day event at Commack Middle School Thursday evening.
The Advocate In Action Award acknowledges the involvement of PTA members in their students’ educations as well as in the PTA. The Honorary Lifetime Member Award it's given to people who have made exceptional contributions to the welfare of children and the school community. The Distinguished Service Award recognizes outstanding contributions to the welfare of children and the PTA.
Among the honorees were 28 students, recognized as district winners of the 2024–2025 PTA Reflections Program. The students now advance to the county level of the competition. Submissions who win at the county level will then move onto the state competition.
