Burr Students Visit Ronald McDonald House, Deliver Pajamas and Donation

Burr Intermediate School's fourth grade student council visited the Ronald McDonald House in New Hyde Park on Monday to learn firsthand about the organization and ways that students can help children undergoing treatment at nearby Cohen Children’s Hospital.
During their visit, the students donated pajamas and personal care packages they had created. They also presented the organization with a check for $1,500 that was raised during Burr's annual Kick-For-A-Cause soccer tournament.
The information gained during their tour will be used to create a video about the organization, which will be shared with their school community.
