CHS Juniors Selected for Boys' State
CHS juniors Francesco D., Keith A. and Eric F. have been selected to attend Boys’ State.
The American Legion Boys’ State program is a week-long program beginning in late June that immerses male 2026 high school graduates in citizenship and leadership training at SUNY Morrisville.
The students will learn the practical aspects of government as it exists in New York State and come to recognize that the individual is integral to the character and success of government. They also participate in physical training and teamwork exercises as well as other activities under the guidance of American Legion counselors and U.S. Marines.
The trio of CHS juniors was joined at the high school on Friday by Charlie Armstrong and other members of American Legion Greenlawn Post 1244.
