CHS Students Graduate from Women in Tech Internship
Congratulations to CHS students Gina P., Kileigh A. and Ishana C., who graduated from the BAE Women in Tech internship.
The internship is competitive, accepting only 12-15 Long Island high school students per year.
The students attend the program after school for several hours once a week for 13 weeks.
Each week they are given tours of different software and hardware engineering and manufacturing facilities, are given lectures on current STEM initiatives and concerns, and collaborate with other participants and mentors to create objects.
