Burr Students Share Messages Using Morse Code
Burr third graders are learning about one of the original forms of using technology to transmit messages.
Computer lab teaching assistant George Morrish taught the students about Morse code on Friday.
Some students in the classes had the opportunity to use a telegraph machine to transmit long dashes and dots. Their classmates, elsewhere in the classroom, had to decode the three-letter words, including DOG and CAR.
